Peace Like A River
This sampler quilt was a Christmas gift for an outdoorsman who loves
to fish. The personalized touches serve to make it a Celebration of his
life.
The center medallion landscape is a HTH Celebration Quilts original
design, set on point, that portrays the silhouette of this man fishing
from the dock with his German Shepard dog by his side. The
gorgeous iridescent moon overhead makes this portion of the quilt
truly a beautiful piece of art. Surrounding this center are various blocks
that offer symbolism to this individual's life:

The Bird's Nest Block not only carries through the theme, but is made
of fabrics taken from clothing that belonged to his mother, father,
grandparents and brother. In each corner of the outside border, are
personal items such as high school, equestrian and holiday

by machine. It measures 60 inches square.
